A school somewhere in Hungary. An ordinary literature class with unextraordinary students. It feels like a normal day, except that the Hungarian Prime Minister is about to visit. The school secretary tries to keep everything under control, especially the celebratory cake, which doesn’t fit in the fridge. While the cooks struggle to fix the problem, a 17-year-old Márti, who is supposed to greet the Prime Minister on stage, hesitantly prepares her little rebellion.

22-year-old Jakub lives in a stable. He lives surrounded by horses with which he spends practically all his time. He spends every day doing the same repetitive activities. However, he has a dream that gives his daily routine meaning.

Hypnotizing music video, which proves that art can interpenetrate. “Your heart is cold” touches on topics such as addiction, temptation, and most importantly love and passion and humanity, because wouldn’t it be easier to just live without a heart? The music video, tells about a serial killer, but treats all of it only as a platform to deal with much more important and more personal topics.

“Puszcza: Diptych” is a story about an old forest told from two perspectives: nature and man. In the first part, guided by magic fires, we set out on a restless journey through the wilderness. In the second chapter, we observe the attitude of man towards nature in the crooked mirror. Although both parts differ in terms of visuals, their content complements, outlining a complex picture of  our relationship with nature. The film was inspired by the conflict over one of the most valuable forests in Europe – Białowieża Primeval Forest.

The film is about Martin Thaulow, a Danish photographer and filmmaker who, with his work and life, challenges the institutional machine that treats refugees only in terms of a problem that simply needs to be eliminated. Reimagine, or imagine it in a new, different, better way!
